Meet Anna
As a joyful Mama of four beautiful babies, I feel so privileged to be able to support other families as they welcome their own little ones. Birth is an incredibly transformative experience and everyone deserves to feel supported and held through it. I have always loved all things pregnancy, birth and motherhood, but my passion was truly ignited in high school when I did a co-op placement with our local midwives. There, I was introduced to the beauty and strength of birthing women and how absolutely powerful it is to bring forth new life. I have been working as a certified birth doula for the past seven years and have loved all that it entails!
From my own birth experiences, I have learned the courage it takes to choose what’s right for me, but also how much having great support can help me navigate the process of self-advocacy and ownership of my experience. Even through the unexpected, that continuous care was invaluable. I want to empower others in this same way.
Whether I name it a passion or a calling, one thing is for sure, my whole heart is in it and I am so honored to care for my community through my work as a doula.
Meet Jolene
The intricate way that God created the female body to birth new life, just amazes me! After job-shadowing at a local midwifery clinic in 2022 and seeing the impact that a strong support system makes; it lit a fire within me to pursue my doula career. Very shortly thereafter, I was welcomed to attend a birth with Anna as the secondary doula. I walked away from that birth knowing this was undoubtedly what I was being called to pursue! I went on to complete my certification and jumped right into supporting families.
Now that I’m a mama myself, I have witnessed first hand how important it is to have a strong circle of support. Even though birth doesn’t always go as we planned; feeling seen, supported and held through the process makes all the difference! It is my desire to provide this level of compassion and care to each family that I serve.
The strength and beauty found in birth will always have my awe!
